Artist Liaison
So, thanks for all the questions about my new job. The main one being: what the hell is an artist Liaison? In a nutshell, I take care of artist relations from the time they sign the contract agreeing to do a show with us, all the way through the performance date. I relived a bit of my high school music tastes last Tuesday by going to see the English Beat in concert. Normally, I would say that was pathetic and I did feel like a complete tool, taking my copy of “I just Can’t Stop It” to be signed, but the truth is, it was awesome. Dave Wakeling put on a great show (he’s the only original member) and the band ran through 2 1/2...
